Project's description

The first tramway line of Ouargla is 12.6 km long with 23 stations, 16 junctions, 2 park-and-ride lots and 3 interchange poles. It connects El Ksar (the old city) to the new city (Hai Nasr).

Scope of work

This assessment service applies to the following subsystems:

  • Global system coherence, system approach
  • Railway signalling and control,
  • Rolling stock,
  • Operation/maintenance of tramways,
  • Electrical traction energy / Traction energy substation and traction current return circuit,
  • External risks, natural and technological risks,
  • Railway track, platform and switches and crossings
  • Civil engineering-solidity
